BIOFUEL FROM SCOTCH

Mother Jones has a great article about the Scottish start-up environmental company that is turning the surprising amount of waste from Scotch distillery into biofuels. Celtic Renewables takes draff, pot ale, the two main byproducts of Whiskey distillery,  and processes it into biobutanol fuel, animal feed, and acetone. Be careful however, next time you see a Scottish man stumbling out of his local pub it would be to your benefit if you didn't ask to "process his night's waste".
